Lewis Hamilton did not hide his frustration after collecting a five second penalty in Hungary for going 0.1 km/h over the pit lane limit. Race engineer Carlo Santi delivered the news on the radio: "And we got 5 second penalty for speeding into the pit lane." Hamilton replied: "Aye, handing out penalties like crazy." After the race he went further, telling Ferrari: "Every opportunity that I give those stewards, every single time they give me a penalty!" It followed his Instagram post the day before, written after a three place grid drop for impeding Oscar Piastri: "Sometimes you just can't catch a break.
